A Quick Visit to the Today Art Museum

Well, it's been a while! I mean that in two ways, first being it's been a long time since I did a blog post, and secondly, it's been a long time since I took photos.

But my winter vacation has just about started, so today I thought why not visit the Today Art Museum.

I've been to the museum three or four times over the years, most notably when it held the Vivian Maier exhibit. Don't think I ever shared those photos here, guess that's an idea for a future blog post.

Up until a few months ago I was taking and posting photos like crazy! But then things got a bit busy, and I got a lot lazy.

Anyway, I'm not really happy with any of the photos that I took today, no bangers, as they say. But it did feel great to hold my camera in my hands again! I guess that's the most important thing. Now that I'll have more free time for the next number of weeks, I will be taking more photos.

I planned on trying out a couple of film recipes, but then (as usual) ended up just using the RAWs instead. Seems like unless the conditions are perfect, I always rely on the RAWs. I'm hoping in 2026 to get more comfortable with recipes so I be more satisfied with straight out of camera photos.

So even though I wasn't successful in taking any life-changing photos, I guess one positive outcome is at least I remembered how to use my camera!
